He is survived by: his wife Rhea Marie Goddard; his children, Joel Neely (Michele) and Jennifer Haney (Scott); his grandchildren, Kole Neely, Joel Neely III, Austin Haney Loustad, Ashley Haney Kuhlenbeck and Allison Haney Guerrero; his great grandchildren, Elin Kuhlenbeck, Vail Kuhlenbeck, Ashton Guerrero, Sophia Guerrero, Greyson Guerrero, Xiarra Neely, Tyler Carr and Jenna Loustad; and his aunt Jeanette Shellabarger.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761).
