Neva Marie Welk Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Neva Marie Welk (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on February 15, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard W. Herlein and Ellen Marie Haynes Herlein; her husband Richard Welk; her children, Dorothy Sturmer and Howard Volkl; and her siblings, Nina and Leroy.
She is survived by: her sons, John Volkl, Tim Volkl (Lynn), Wayne Volkl (Shelley) and Roy Volkl (Vicki). She is also survived by several grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family in care of John Volkl.
