She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil E. Bierman and Shirley J. Gerels Bierman Sr.; her daughter Cassandra Sotelo; and her sisters, Betsy Bierman, Alice Molina (Jose), Karen Ramos (Rosendo), Patty Sotelo (Rey), Barbara Marshall (Larry) and Sandra Kay Bierman.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Hotchkiss (Sydney Hill), Sara Sanders (Luke) and Michelle Hotchkiss (Craig Hayden); her grandchildren, Hailey Sanders, Kylee Sanders, Piper Kueter, Stella Kueter, Cassandra Hayden, Rylee Hotchkiss and Maddox Hotchkiss; and her siblings, Rod Bierman (Tonya), Virgil Bierman, Rick Bierman (Rhonda), Larry Bierman (Cheryl), Jack Bierman (Linda), Randy Bierman (Caroline) and Anna DeLeon (Manny). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
