Myrle Abney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 10, 2021, at the age of 93, Myrle Abney of Muscatine, Iowa, born in Conesville, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Keeler and Inez M. Keeler (Lauderdale); her stepfather Orville VanHorn; her grandsons, Eric and Robert Payne; and her sisters, Grace Tomasson, Marjorie Lenz and Virginia Forbes.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert D. Abney; her children, Teresa Tompkins (John Mickey) of Homosassa, Carolyn Wilkens of Muscatine, Richard L. Shaner (Marla) of Muscatine, Jeffery Shaner (Caroline) of Muscatine, Doug Abney (Paula Jackson) of Muscatine and Darren Abney (Ellen) of Muscatine; and her brother Dale Keeler (Jan) of Muscatine. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; 15 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society in memory of Myrle.
