With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Michael L. Smith of Muscatine, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Michael left this world on July 25, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles B. Smith and Phyllis J. Smith (Kolmerer); his granddaughter Savannah; and his sister Susan Baker (Larry). He is survived by: his wife Norma Smith of Muscatine; his children, Tom Hahn of Muscatine, Laura Mullen (Jeff) of Muscatine, Amy Shampney (Bill) of Grandview, Jeremy Sagawa (Mayumi) of Tokyo, Japan, John Hahn of West Liberty and Mario Smith (Chastity) of Los Angeles, CA; his grandchildren, Amy, David, Allissa, Dakota, Zachary, Joshua, Tori, Lexi, Kane and Iyla; and his nephew Rick Christianson. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established for Mike's family at the funeral home.
