He was predeceased by : his parents, Gary Denean and Nancy Lee Moody (O'Leary); his sister Lisa Michelle Moody; his nephew Drake Ronald Moody; and his mother-in-law Vickie.
He is survived by : his wife Mandy Moody; his daughter Lizz Smith (Paul Zdon); his children Cameron Moody and Lauren Moody (Alex Steffen), and step children Brad Howard, Kaden Honts and Nathaniel Honts; his brother Dan Moody (Sue Marr); his nieces and nephews, Luke (Sarah), Nate, Samantha (Connor), Johnny and Abby; and his brothers-in-law, Clifford Byrd III and Daniel Byrd. He is also survived by nieces and nephew; uncles; aunts; cousins.
It was important to Matt to give the gift of life though donation through the Iowa Donor Network.
