He was predeceased by: his parents, John Plank and Bertha Brawner; his wife Rosalee Ann Wakeland; and his sister Jean Stuart. He is survived by: his children, Marvin E. Plank, Madonna Suri, Lori Dusenberry (Donald), Timothy Plank (Cheryl) and Patrick Plank; his grandchildren, Martha Plank McGourty, Mirandi Dusenberry Dickerson (Benjamin), Joshua Plank (Erin) and Mikel Plank (Savanna); his sisters, Jan Coss and Charlene Payne; his son Darrel Dean Lee (Diane); his nephew Robert 'Bob VanAcker (Elizabeth); and his granddaughter Mandi. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Marvin continued going to races and fishing until Covid grounded him.
