He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Flanders and Lucille Wiesner Flanders. He is survived by: his wife Kay Selvig; and his siblings, Linda Powell of Colorado Springs, Susan Sivinananda (Nathan) of Mt. Shasta, Denise Smith (Johnny) of Nichols and Joseph Flanders (Joan) of Muscatine. He is also survived by many Godchildren, nieces, and nephews.
