She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Smull and Violet Smull (Smith); her husband Robert W. Wheeler; her sons, Randy and Steven; and her half-sisters, Marylin Smull and Beverly Olson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Freese (Mark) of Muscatine and Tonya Brokaw (John "Bill") of Muscatine; her daughter-in-law Marina Wheeler of Brighton, Iowa; her grandchildren, Christopher Wheeler (Bethany), Christopher Stevens (Gina), Melissa Freese (Alex), Kurt Freese, Jason Wheeler, Courtney Steele Lamb (Tyson) and Ryan Steele (Cassi); and her close friend Fred Mullens. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for the family in Marjorie's name.
