He was predeceased by: his parents, Vance Chapman and Inis Smith Chapman; and his wife Caroline McKinney. He is survived by: his son Brice Chapman (Dana); his grandson Brodie Chapman; and his siblings, Ruth Adkison, Marlene Chelf and Willard "Bill" Chapman.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to his son, Brice, to be used for a pay-it-forward fund in Lee's memory.
