He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald M. Ziegenhorn and Marjorie E. McElroy Ziegenhorn; his uncle Virgil McElroy; and his cousins, Kelly Ingstad and Kim Ingstad.
He is survived by: his brother Craig Ziegenhorn (Mary) of Kansas City, Missouri; his nieces, Trisha and Stefanie; and his great-nephews, Jonah, Cameron and Cole.
