It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence George Richter Jr. (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence George Richter Sr. and Nellie Margaret Potter; and his pets, Sam and Dusty. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his daughters, Tonya Strong (Jason) and Terri Cheville (Tom Bates); his grandchildren, Ashlee Schabilion (Mike), Megan Versasselt (Jared), Samantha Martin (Alex Kleinheinz), Tyler Martin (Morgan Carew) and Rebecca Miller (Derek); and his great grandchildren, Hadlee, Tanslee, Raylan, June, Rhett and Ellie.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Rock Island National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Quad City Veterans Outreach Center, in his honor.
