He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tietje and June Tietje (Baars); and his wife Patricia King. He is survived by: his children, Chad Zaehringer of Muscatine, Michael Zaehringer (Kim) of Muscatine and Tricia Bragg (Craig) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Grayson, Delaney, Jack, Tyus, Sydni and Trey; and his sisters, Linda Tietje of Muscatine, Betty Tietje of Muscatine and Carol Feddersen (Jay) of Muscatine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
