He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton Meyer and Violet Shepard Meyer; his daughter Amy Meyer; and his sisters, Marlene Steen and Joyce Hetherington.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Meyer of Muscatine; his sons, Patrick Meyer (Kami) of Indianola and Steven Meyer (Jessica) of Muscatine; and his grandchildren, London, Waylon, Lauren and Kaylei.
Memorials may be made to Iowa City Hospice music therapy or Zion Lutheran Church.
