He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Weikert and June Weikert (Hein); his wife Anita Weikert (Atkins); and his brother Jerry Weikert. He is survived by: his pet Snoopy; his children, Casey Weikert (Heather Winn) and Mindy Harfst (Mike); his grandson Mason Harfst of Muscatine; his brothers, Terry and Gary; and his friends, Charlie Genung (Sandy) and Steve Harfst (Chris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society.
