It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kevin William Lucas of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on December 12, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Wallace and Edith Lucille Lucas (Skipton); and his brothers, Steven W. Lucas and Leslie Charles Lucas. He is survived by: his sister Teresa Smith (Charlie) of Muscatine; his niece Whitney Heath (Nahum); his nephew Timothy Smith (Yoli); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Mercedes Smith, Kaden Smith, Karson Smith, Jaslene Moreno, Yecenia Echols and Sadie Echols; his aunts, Kay Skipton and Jean Dusenberry; and his uncle Harry Etter.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the New Hope Global Methodist Church (3215 Tipton Rd, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Kevin.
