With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joy Schrock of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on February 2, 2025 at the age of 59. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Arthur Sissel; her husband Gary Schrock; and her niece Bethany Sissel. She is survived by: her mother Virginia Sissel (Wilson) of Muscatine; her sons, Davis and Caleb Schrock; her grandchildren, River and Arthur; and her siblings, David Sissel (Mary) of Muscatine and Kathy Grant (Gary) of Milton, Washington..
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 5:30 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the East Union Mennonite Church (5615 Gable Ave SW, Kalona, IA 52247).
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for Spring Valley Bible Camp in Muscatine.
