He is survived by: his wife Deborah Murillo of Muscatine; his children, Marie Lila Murillo of Davenport, Jose Arturo Murillo Jr. "Nuno" of Davenport, Mark Anthony Murillo of Davenport, Michael Anthony Schisler of Illinois, Amanda Ramirez of Muscatine and Jason Burkett of Davenport; his stepson Jose Martin Cardona of Louisiana; his siblings, Jorge Murillo, Rosa Candela (Jesus), Martha Murillo, Verlie Cardona (Frank), Sylvia Mora (Angel), Grace Aguirre (Martin), Elizabeth Izaguirre and Diana Murillo; his former wife Martina Cardona; his son Salvador Murillo "Chava"; and his nephew Rene Murillo Cardona. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.
