With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John S. Shryock Sr. (Muscatine, Iowa), born in Coshocton, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Frederick and Betty Jane McKillip Shryock; his wife Joyce Marie Chrest; and his brother James Shryock. He is survived by: his children, John Shryock Jr. (Tracy Forbes) of Florida and Melissa Thomas (Jeff) of Davenport; his grandchildren, Elizabeth Hoffman (Josh), Mark Hoffman, Jesse Strang, Jacob Strang and Shaylee Graber (Shaylon); his great grandchildren, Elijah, Josie, Bella, Lucas, Dallas, Dakota and Jonathan; and his siblings, Nancy Coulter, Stephen Shryock, Patrick Shryock and Rick Deniz.
Memorials may be made to the Fire Fighters Association of Muscatine.
