She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan LaVearne and Betty Alberta Spitznogle (Fuller); her husband Keith R. Wetzel; her daughter Joella Marie Meincke; and her brother Randy Reynolds.
She is survived by: her close friend Jacob Harris of Muscatine; her children, Kandy L. Pepper of Milan, Larry L. Meincke (Nancy) of New Boston, Leslie W. Hunter of Muscatine and Keith Wetzel of Muscatine; and her siblings, Tammy Spitznogle of Wapello and Ivan L. Spitznogle Jr. of Wapello. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 25 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Joan.
