It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Sturms (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on December 2, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Sturms to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clinton and Elma Hazel Stock Sturms; his brother Donald Sturms (Ruth); his daughter-in-law Joani Sturms; and his brother-in-law Fred'Gumps'Haller.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Rose Sturms; his children, Jay Sturms (Deb), Kyle Sturms and Becky Wichers (Joel); his grandchildren, Christine, Curtis, Kayla, Jenna, Drake, Drew and Luke; his great grandchildren, Camden, Weston, Josephine, Drayton, Kaydence and Rhett; and his sister Jean Haller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a scholarship that will be set up in Jim's honor at Muscatine High School.
