He was predeceased by: his parents, John Waack and Emma Hutchenson Waack; his son Joe; his siblings, Milo Waack, Alice Rief and Ruth Goodrich; his great grandchild Annabell; and his children-in-law, Thomas R. Kelly and Melanie Waack.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Kay Waack; his children, Jerry (Peggy Waack), David Waack of Cedar Rapids, Dawn R. Kelly of Moscow, Eric (Amanda Waack), Aaron (Kim Waack) and William Waack of Sherrard; and his siblings, Mary, Jonny Waack, Dorothy and Otto Vinckovich. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren.
