He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Hargrave and Evva Nicewanner Hargrave; his siblings, Robert Hargrave (Sharon), Irene Livingston, Joyce Wagner (Allen), Mary'Chris'Buell, Grace Dahnke (Kenny) and Dennis Hargrave; and his nephews, Matthew and David Hargrave.
He is survived by: his wife Verla Ashbaugh; his sons, Mike Hargrave (Jennifer) of Fruitland, Greg Hargrave (Penny) of Fruitland and Jeff Hargrave (Deana) of Muscatine; his grandchildren, Nathan, Jessica, Taylor, Adam, Travis, Lauren and Mackenzie; his great grandchildren, Beth, Lexie, Emree, Lennyn, Priden, Shiloh, Quincy and Leo; his siblings, Keith Hargrave, Dorothy Williams (Dewey) and Joann Latimer (Wayne); and his siblings-in-law, Lisa Hargrave and Richard'Doc'Livingston. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home (1931 Houser St, Muscatine, IA 52761). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to Muscatine County Conservation or Trinity Hospice.
