It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Irving Leroy Schlimmer of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on November 13, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Schlimmer and Elizabeth Schlimmer; his daughter Marsha Rae Schlimmer; and his siblings, Kenneth Schlimmer, Delores and Nola.

He is survived by: his daughters, LeAnn Trevino (Steve) and Rhoda Foster (Robert); his grandchildren, Jedidiah "Jade" Trevino (Lucinda), Victoria "Tori" True, Cari Ann Trevino, Stephen Allen Trevino and Josey Lee Trevino (Cameron); his great grandchildren, Isaac, Jr., Elias, Owen, Cameron, Jaron, Kie, Nolan, Caiden, Armani and Adelyn; and his sister Betty Cox. He is also survived by his daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Memorials in Irving's memory may be made to the family.

“LeAnn and Rhoda - We were so sorry to read Uncle Irv's obit tonight. Our family has enjoyed our contacts with Uncle Irv in the past several ars. We went out to breakfast with him on our trip from Superior, WI to Batesville, AK (April, 2015). We cherish that memory and picture forever. Uncle Irv had such nice things to say about my mother. He always had questions about our family. Truly, Uncle Irv brought my wife and kids into the warmth of the Schlimmer family. We love you and your family.”
