She was predeceased by: her parents, Patrick E. Smith and Patricia C. Smith (Rowe); her siblings, Cynthia (Gary Schmidt), Linda (Jerry Collins) and Christopher Smith; and her niece Charlie Emma Schmidt.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Smith of Newton, Iowa; her grandson Erik Hall; her siblings, Karen Jones (Kim) of Gresham, Kathi Smith of Gresham, Nancy Smith (Wayne) of Coral Springs and Sean Smith (Amanda) of Havelock; her aunt Jan Rowe (family: Williams) of Rock Island; her nieces and nephews, Damon Agretto (Bella), Molly Collins, Devin Lafoon, Zachary Smith, Lucas Jones (Kimberly) and Colin Smith (Ashleigh); and her friends, Karen and Gordon Guffy of Eldridge, Iowa.. She is also survived by four great-nieces and nephews; and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King's Harvest Pet Rescue, Davenport, Iowa.
