She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Wittke and Alice Wittke. She is survived by: her husband Robert Gallagher; her nephews, Ron Gallagher of Washington, Tim Gallagher of Bedford and Mike Gallagher of Hills; her close friends, Rani M. Thomas of Texas and Mary Cavasos of Muscatine; her brother Rudolph Wittke; and her cousin Paul Wittke of Tennessee.

Memorials may be made in her honor to Grace Lutheran Church.
