It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Joseph Bennett (Muscatine, Iowa), born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on August 15, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Bennett (Krokowski) and Eugene Bennett; and his siblings, Linda and Ray. He is survived by: his wife Connie of Muscatine; his sons, Josh Bennett (Connie Chornuk) of Nashville, Doug Bennett (Erin Howk) of Muscatine and Sam Bennett (Leslie) of Muscatine; his granddaughters, Brooke, Briar and Coralie Bennett; and his sister Mary Rygh of Sioux City.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made directly to the family in Gary's honor for a tree planted at the Muscatine Arboretum in his memory.
