With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eugene Rock of Muscatine, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eugene left this world on January 28, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter B. Rock and Angeline Rock (Globes); his former wife Sandra Jo; his wife Mary Lue; his siblings, Angeline Marshall, Walyne Whitmer, Linda Troxel, Dennis Rock, Wayne Rock, Walter Rock, Steve Rock and Mary; and also, Jeff Hackett (Elizabeth) and Craig Hackett Sr..

He is survived by: his children, Virginia Harrison (Earl "Tony") of Muscatine and Walter Rock (Michele) of Auburn, Washington; his grandchildren, Byron Rock, Eric Rock, Gene Morris and Lynn Morris-Gonzales; his great grandchildren, Isaac, Isaiah, Elijah, Malachi, Everett, Emmett, Aviva, Mekenzee, Riley, Kyle, Sandra, Karen and Addalyn; his great great grandchildren, Roslyn and Esther; his sister Diana Nesbit (Roy) of Muscatine; his nephew Todd Hackett (Tricia) of Muscatine; his great-nephews, Craig Hackett Jr. (Andrea), Joseph Fox (Sara), Jake Fox, Aaron Hackett and Nathan Hackett (Jess); his great-niece Jenna Hackett; and also, Macey Lue Hackett, Nolan Fox and Jared Woerly.

Visitation was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Snyder & Hollenbaugh Funeral & Cremation Services of Muscatine. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM.

A memorial has been established in Gene's name.
