He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Phelps and Atla Phelps (Machlan); and his sister Rose Marie McKeen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Phelps; his half-brother Paul Phelps; and his nephews, John and Robert McKeen. He is also survived by nieces and nephews-in-law.
