He is survived by: his wife Varsha Vashi (Desai); his children, Mitul (Twinkle) and Purvi Patel (Nehal); his grandchildren, Jaanvi, Malay, Hetvi and Veehan; and his brothers, Ajit Vashi and Dr. Pankaj Vashi.
