He is survived by: his wife Patricia Ann Goodwin; his children, Scot Van Wey (Chelsea) of Muscatine and Wendy Anderson (Erik) of Colfax; his granddaughters, Gabrielle Van Wey and Ashley Anderson; his great grandchild Audrey Rose Bodman; his sisters, Sharon Foutch and Tammy Hyink (Mike); and his sister-in-law Thresa Fix.

Memorials may be made to Calvary Church.
