He is survived by: his wife Sheila Shellady of Muscatine; his children, Nathan Murphy (Melissa) of Riverside, Michael Shellady (Kassie) of Muscatine, Allen Smith (Samantha) of Muscatine, Joseph Smith (Mary) of Muscatine and Tiffany Smith of Muscatine; and his siblings, Kevin Stuart of Muscatine, Patricia Green (John) of Muscatine and Pat Mealy (Irina) of Muscatine. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
