He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Painter and Marian Becker Painter; and his siblings, John Painter, Mike Painter and Judith Sander.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Pulliam of Muscatine; his sons, Jim Painter (Angie) of Muscatine, Tim Painter (Sonja) of Muscatine, Chris Painter (Deb) of Fruitland and Scott Painter (Janice) of Muscatine; his grandchild Caitlyn Lilly (Grant); his great grandchildren, Macy, Emery, Kendyll and Elowyn; his granddaughter Jennifer Roth (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Carter and Clayton; his grandchildren, Shelly Cunningham, Melissa Martinez and Craig Hacket (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Macey and Jared; and his grandchildren, Mitch Painter, Zach Painter, Matt, Levi, Jake, Cole and Makayla Painter.
Memorials may be made to the family, in care of Mary Jane Painter.
