It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darlene A. (Shay) Lange (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on February 13, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Ament and Hazel Linville Ament; her husbands, Donald L. Lange and Dr. Eugene Shay; her daughter Jolene Siewert (Don); and her siblings, Betty Nevins and Bob Ament.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Janell Townsley (Clinton) of Letts; her great grandchildren, Jason Townsley (Rebecca) and Janessa Boley (Ryan); her grandson Jeff Siewert (Kristin) of Pella; her great grandchildren, Zachary Siewert and Cole Siewert (Leah); and her great great grandchildren, Beau, Brantley Townsley and Ember Boley.
Memorials may be made to Hospice Compassus in honor of Darlene.
