He is survived by: his wife Karen Burns of Muscatine; his children, Dan Burns (Billie) of Muscatine, Beverly Beck (Dennis) of Muscatine, Marion Curry (Rick) of Muscatine, Linda Newcomb (Gary) of Tipton, Brian Burns (Lynnette) of Muscatine, John Schreurs of Muscatine and Dawn Gerling of Columbus Junction; and his grandchildren, Daniel Craig Burns (Julia), Nicholas Burns (Missy), Amanda Smillie (Pete), Melissa Tiffany (Aaron), Sara Noah (Steve Hartson), Brian Beck (Kristi), Ken Curry (Genette), Angela Garrison (Mike), Eric Curry (Jody), Angee Pleggenkuhle (Curt Bowling), Misty Starkweather (Matt), Valerie Medchill (Michael), Stephanie Burns (Garett Foster), Jordan Gerling (Abbey) and Stacy Messinger (Nick). He is also survived by 30 great-grandchildren and two on the way; one great- great-grandchild.
A memorial has been established in Wayne's name.
