He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville S. Smith and Margaret A. Smith Jr. (Oostendorp); and his sisters, Doris Graham and Sandra Smith. He is survived by: his wife Kris of Muscatine; his children, Matt Smith (Jennifer) of Monroe and Jessica Jordan (Nathan) of Springfield, Missouri; his grandchildren, Olivia, Kaitlynn, Melanie Smith and Trent Jordan; and his sister Sara Stanoff of Atalissa.
