It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Christina Rubenbauer of Muscatine, Iowa, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on May 22, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her adoptive parent Van Snyder; her husband Mark Rubenbauer; her children, Eric Rubenbauer (Kerri) of Marshalltown and Leiah Craun (Alan) of LeGrand; her great grandchildren, Ashley McFarland (Travis) of Grimes, Jacey of Grimes, Maxim of Grimes, Justine Hoover (Daniel) of Cedar Falls, Kenny of Cedar Falls, Eliza of Cedar Falls, Miles of Cedar Falls, Phillip Rubenbauer (Jordan), Tucker, Hudson of Marshalltown, Andrew Rubenbauer of Brooklyn, NY, David Stevens (Abigaile), Jack of Marshalltown, Angela Patrick (Nick), Amelia of Wolf Lake, Brenna DeLong (Brian), Dallen of Knoxville, Iowa, Jessica Marks (Rick), Chase and Lyrick of Marshalltown; her sister-in-law Mary Walter of Clive; her father Mark; and her brother-in-law Jared Walter.
Recently she had a poem published in the Lutheran Message about COVID-19.
