It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Sterner (Muscatine, Iowa), born in New Boston, Illinois, who passed away on February 20, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Sr. Sterner and Nira Yerington Sterner; his siblings, Merle Jr., Nellie Lowe, Shirley Dismer, Bertha Schroeder and Nina Vanwinkle; and his great grandchild Ezekial Starnes.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his children, Russell Bellinger (Miriam), Lisa Land (Duane), Rita Lipke, Jeremy Peppel, Heather Flick (Darren) and Amelia Brumett (Tony); and his sister Charlene Shoppa. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
