With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Zellmer of Muscatine, Iowa, born in Columbus Junction, Iowa, who passed away on July 13, 2022 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur M. Lee and Velma M. Lee (Tisor); her husband Don; her son Jerry Zellmer; her grandson Derek Penderson; and her great grandchild Kenda Metzger.
She is survived by: her daughter Nonie Wertzbaugher (John) of Atalissa, IA; her grandchildren, Michelle Metzger and Morgan Penderson; her stepgranddaughters, Maggie Hines (Perry) and Holly Huth; and her siblings, Janet Bell (Mike) of LeClaire, Butch Lee (Bonnie) of Fruitland, Rick Lee of Muscatine and Wayne Lee of Wapello. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A memorial has been established for Musserville Church in Carolyn's name.
