With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol A. Payne of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on August 13, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Franklin Ray and Emma Lucille Manning (Smith); her former husband Don L. Carroll; her husband Harry Payne; her daughter Carla Lamp; her significant other Bernie Brauns; and her siblings, Patti Manning, Gladys Lee, Anna Lowe, Delores Sinn and Everett Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Don L. Carroll Jr. of Muscatine and Rebecca Payne of Muscatine; her grandchildren, Christopher Lamp, Ross Donelson, Drea Garcia, Dalton Carroll and Faith Carroll; her siblings, Opal Wiggins of Mt Pleasant and Lyle Manning (Judy) of Texas; and her sister-in-law Carol Manning. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
