With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Boehl Steinmetz of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on February 9, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Otto Boehl and Louise M. Tomfeld; her spouse Ladd; and her sister Marjorie Colbert. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Robert Ladd Steinmetz (Suzana) of Tallahassee, Florida and Linda Carol Pasvogel (Mervin) of Wilton; her grandchildren, Jesse Wathan (Angie), Julie McCabe (Michael), Carsten Steinmetz and Fiona Steinmetz; and her great grandchildren, Josie, Justin, Jarret Wathan, Ethan, Logan and Ashlyn McCabe.

Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
