He is survived by: his wife Renee Anderson; his daughters, Mae Robertson of Muscatine and Tasha Anderson (Ulysses Johnson) of Muscatine; his stepdaughters, Katlin Graham (Justin) of Muscatine and Taylor Tompkins of Des Moines; his grandchildren, Mya Anderson, Jaynaha Johnson and Amare Johnson; his great grandchild Aurora Peniston; his close friend Kristina Foor of Muscatine; his sister Styana Williams of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his nephew-in-law Goodwin Nwosu of Baytown Texas.

A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Bruce' name.
