She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Paul and Betty Jane Thompson (Fulton); her former husband Robert C. Minder; and her brother Charles Thompson. She is survived by: her son Gregory Douglas of Davenport; her grandsons, Michael and Noah; her children, Joanna Minder of Bettendorf, Matt Edwards and Claire Edwards; her sisters, Tracy Phillips (Rick) of Moline, Illinois, Roxanne Schmidtt (Jim) of Rock Island and Dawn Kerns (Tom) of Davenport; and her aunt Margaret Sprague of Muscatine. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Betty.
