She is survived by: her daughter Ruthann Hoffman; her granddaughter Laura Peate (Joseph); her great grandchild Daisy; her stepgrandchildren, Ted Marston (Jennifer) of Virginia and Christine Harrison of Muscatine; and her friends, Wally and Darla Hays. She is also survived by six step-grandchildren.
