It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Arlen R. Elliott of Muscatine, Iowa, who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Arlen may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arlen touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Rector P. Elliott and Lula T. Elliott; his wife Dorothy Mae Powers; and his children, Christopher Arlen Elliott and Mary Gail Donovan.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Susan Streuber (Jeff) of Jewell, IA and Marc Alan Elliott (Nancy) of Muscatine, IA; his son-in-law Kevin Donovan of LeClaire, IA; and his pet Abigail. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Muscatine Humane Society or It Takes a Village Animal Rescue, in Arlen's memory.
