It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Elizabeth Axtell (Muscatine, Iowa), who passed away on May 18, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Wakefield and Laura Bell Wakefield (Estabrook) of Illinois City, Illinois.; her siblings, Frank, Delbert, Eva and Edith; her husband Harold Arthur Axtell; and her grandson Gary Jr. Sheila Axtell.
She is survived by: her sons, Larry of Davenport, Harold (Madge) of Cameron, -Gary of Haysi, Virginia-Garold (Darla) of King and Robert (Cindy) of Muscatine.
A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in Alma's name.
