He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann of Murray; his children, Cynthia Kirk (Craig) of Story City, Debra Wilkey (Curt) of Thayer, Lori Crittenden (Jeff) of Winterset and Marty Olson of Osceola; his stepchildren, Mark Backer of Morrill, Marna Lynch (Dan) of Murray and Margo Sweany (Mark) of Olathe, Kan.; and his sister Joyce Maggard (Max) of Colfax. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 72 great-grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.
