He is survived by: his wife Virginia of Mount Vernon; his daughters, Camille Schefter (James Frederick) of Los Angeles, Alexandra Schefter (Zachary Bergman) of St. Paul and Lauren Schefter (Drew LaQua) of Seattle, Washington; his parents, Joseph Schefter and Carol Schefter of Modesto, California; and his siblings, Edward Schefter and Karen Taylor. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
