He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Jo (Smith); his siblings, Russell and Gina; and his parents, Harold Lessmeier and Bonita Lessmeier (Sutcliffe).
He is survived by: his children, Maggie Willems (Nate) of Mount Vernon and Michael Lessmeier (Nicole Welsh) of Washington, D. C.; and his siblings, Christine and Steven. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
