She was predeceased by: her parents, George Everett and Myrtle Belle Milhoan (Crist); her daughter Gayla Ruth Pitlik; her sister Dorothy Berniece Baker; and her niece Gayla Jean Baker.
She is survived by: her husband William Deskin; her daughters, Susan Glenn (Greggory) and Cynthia Halbmaier (Kevin); her son-in-law Roger Pitlik; her grandchildren, Andrew Pitlik (Ashley), Amy Pitlik (Lauren Cikara), Kristin Mayson (Richard), Garrett Glenn (Katie), Elena Lamaak (Benjamin), Geoffrey Glenn, Sean Halbmaier (Valerie), Mackenzie Kraus (Benjamin) and Nathan Halbmaier (Katie); her great grandchildren, McKenna, Josie, Brylee, Eleanor, Harper, Hudson, Jordin, Stella, Elijah, Elliana, Brooks, Tyler and Jack; and also Winigan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Mount Vernon Firefighters Association, Lisbon-Mount Vernon Ambulance, or United Methodist Church of Mount Vernon.
